How we select products

How we evaluate products
Our evaluation methodology combines multiple research approaches:

- Pricing research — We track prices across multiple authorized retailers to provide accurate cost comparisons and identify seasonal discount patterns

What we do not do
- We do not fabricate hands-on testing experiences. If our evaluation is based on specification research and third-party sources rather than physical testing, we say so explicitly with a scope note
- We do not use unsubstantiated superlatives ("best ever," "top rated") without evidence
- We do not guarantee that any product will perform identically for every reader — individual results depend on use case, environment, and personal preference
Corrections and updates
Home products change — prices shift, models get updated, retailers adjust availability. We monitor our published content and update articles when material facts change. Each article displays its most recent update date.
